Synopsis:
Cairo, January 25, 2013. A string of severe sexual assaults takes place in Tahrir Square on the day of the second anniversary of the revolution. In response, a huge crowd of enraged women surges onto the streets. Samaher Alqadi joins them, taking her camera with her as protection but also to document the protests of a burgeoning women’s rebellion.
Synopsis:
Le Caire, le 25 janvier 2013. Le jour du deuxième anniversaire de la révolution, une série de graves agressions sexuelles a lieu sur la place Tahrir. En réponse, une foule immense de femmes en colère s’emparent des rues. Samaher Alqadi se joint à elles, prenant sa caméra avec elle en guise de protection, mais aussi pour documenter une révolution féminine en plein essor.
